Role Overview

The page displays all available roles as individual cards for quick access.

Each role includes:

  • Role Name
  • Edit Role option

Common roles include:

  • Admin
  • Company Admin
  • Agent

Available Roles

Each role represents a different level of system access.

  • Admin - Provides complete access to platform features and administrative functions.
  • Company Admin - Allows company administrators to manage company-specific information and operations.
  • Agent - Provides access to assigned operational tasks based on the permissions configured for the role.

Edit Role

Click Edit Role to modify the permissions assigned to a role. The system opens the Module Permissions page where administrators can enable or disable access for different modules and actions.

Add New Role

Click Add New Role to create a new role when additional permission levels are required. New roles can be configured with custom module permissions based on business requirements.

Best Practices

  • Create roles based on job responsibilities.
  • Assign only the permissions required for each role.
  • Review role permissions regularly.
  • Remove unused roles when they are no longer needed.
Tip : Use separate roles for administrators, company users, and operational staff to maintain better security and access control.

Add New Role

The Add New Role dialog allows administrators to create a new user role within the platform. Each role can later be assigned specific module permissions to control user access across the system.

Role Details

Enter the required information to create a new role.

The dialog contains the following fields:

  • Role Name
  • Description

Role Name

Enter a unique and descriptive name for the new role. The role name should clearly represent the responsibilities or access level of the users assigned to it.

Examples include:

  • Agent
  • Manager
  • Supervisor
  • Support Executive
  • Description - Provide a brief explanation of the role and its intended purpose. A clear description helps administrators understand the responsibilities associated with the role.
  • Submit - Click Submit to create the new role. After the role is created, permissions can be configured from the Module Permissions page.
  • Cancel - Click Cancel to close the dialog without saving any information.

Best Practices

  • Use meaningful role names.
  • Add a clear description for future reference.
  • Create separate roles for different job responsibilities.
  • Configure permissions immediately after creating the role.
Tip: Create roles based on responsibilities rather than individual users to simplify permission management.

Configure Role Permissions

The Module Permissions page allows administrators to assign or modify permissions for a selected role. Permissions determine which modules users can access and the actions they are allowed to perform.

Permission Overview

Permissions are organized into expandable sections based on platform modules.

Common permission groups include:

  • Root
  • Master
  • Subscription

Expand each section to configure permissions for individual modules.

Permission Types

Each module provides the following permission options.

  • All - Grants every available permission for the selected module.
  • View - Allows users to view information without making changes.
  • Add - Allows users to create new records.
  • Update - Allows users to edit existing records.
  • Delete - Allows users to remove records from the system.

Root Permissions

The Root section manages permissions for primary platform modules.

Typical modules include:

  • Company
  • Tools

Administrators can assign permissions independently for each module.

Master Permissions

The Master section controls administrative modules.

Typical modules include:

  • Users
  • Roles

These permissions should generally be assigned only to authorized administrators.

Subscription Permissions

The Subscription section controls access to subscription-related features.

Typical modules include:

  • Plans
  • Subscription
  • Payments
  • Discount

Each module supports independent permission settings for viewing, creating, updating, and deleting records.

Save Changes

Click Save to apply the selected permissions to the role. All users assigned to the role will automatically inherit the updated permissions.

Cancel Changes

Click Cancel to discard any unsaved permission changes.

Best Practices

  • Grant only the permissions required for each role.
  • Avoid assigning unnecessary administrative privileges.
  • Review permissions periodically as user responsibilities change.
  • Test new roles before assigning them to users.
  • Restrict Delete permissions to trusted administrators.
Tip : Review all selected permissions before saving to ensure users receive only the access required for their responsibilities while maintaining platform security.
